The gymcareer team recently visited the Burnley club to meet with General Manager Tim Weir and some of the PT Team.
Tim can you tell us a little more about the type of person you are looking for?
‘We are very engaging with our members and we encourage all our staff to be the same at all times, the business provides support to assist with obtaining new clients but it’s up to the individual to work with the member on developing the training plan and understanding their needs. We are looking for someone who is driven and loves talking to people’
What would you like to say to people who may be looking to apply and work at Xercise4Less but aren’t experienced or Level 3 qualified?
‘As mentioned above we believe it is very much about the person, if you have only just qualified with your Level 3 we will support you on your journey to becoming a confident PT, we are passionate about providing our staff with the right skills and provide paid access to many of our own qualifications which are delivered by PTQ4Less’.
What If I have my Level 2 but not Level 3, or even no qualifications at all?
‘If we believe you are the right fit for the club and you are keen to progress we would be more than happy to work with you and develop you whilst you are in employment by offering paid support with training to become Level 3 qualified’.
